 Projects

The UNESCO Transdisciplinary Chair on Human Development and Culture of Peace is developing research objectives for international, national and local projects. In some cases, it develops the coordination function, in others it is a partner and responsible for specific activities.

These projects cover the areas of local development, multidimensional research, education for youth and adult and professional training.

Training Activities are developed from an institutional perspective within the Faculty of Science of Education at the University of Florence. In particular: (1) the Inter-institutional Master on Local Human Development, Culture of Peace and International Cooperation, (2) the long established Course on Education in penal institutions and in the contexts of social marginality (Methodology addressed: from the Participatory Action Research to the Method Feuerstein) and (3) the Laboratory of Participative Action Research on intangible heritage (the Lab is part of the Doctoral School in Science of Education).

Education is also developed in other universities and international organizations, national and local governments in Italy and other countries where the Chair is active.
